Account Deletion Request
We respect your data privacy. Learn how to securely delete your account and associated data from our systems.
Option 1: Delete via the PointLink App (Automated)
The fastest way to remove your account is directly within the app:
- Open the PointLink App on your device.
- Go to Settings or Profile.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice. Your personal data, ride history, and active sessions will be permanently erased.
Option 2: Delete via Email Request
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request account deletion by emailing us:
- Send an email to support@pointlink.co.zw.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
- Include the phone number or email address associated with your PointLink account.
- Our support team will process your request and securely purge your data within 7-14 business days.
Note: Financial transaction logs related to completed rides or wallet top-ups may be retained securely for up to 7 years in compliance with Zimbabwean financial regulations.
